World Environment Day
The N.S.S. unit of Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June, 2012 by participating in Tree Plantation Drive organized by University of Mumbai at Kalina campus, 5 volunteers participated in this event.
The event started by the first sapling being planted by the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University and other dignitaries. Various colleges participated in the event and planted saplings as a token of their contribution in making the event successful.
The event ended by the vote of thanks by Mr. Sushil Shinde, District Co-ordinator of N.S.S unit. The activity was very impactful as it left behind a sense of responsibility in all of us and made us realize how important it is to protect the natural gift to us by God.
