World Environment Day

The NSS unit of Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management celebrated World Environment Day by participating in Beach Clean-up Drive organised by Indian Development Foundation (IDF) at Juhu beach. 200 volunteers from different fields (corporate, senior citizens, etc) were present to make the event successful.

The N.S.S. students were able to clean a 3-4 km stretch, filling substantial number of bags. The activity was basically to support environmental cause. There was also a street play performed by few students which depicted the importance of keeping our environment clean and save our most important capital-Trees!

It was very inspiring and sensitizing experience for all the volunteers and they wish to participate in many such forthcoming activites.
