The N.S.S. volunteers participated in an event organised by ‘Volunteer for a Better India’ an initiative to go to manage traffic at Goregoan Signal near Oberoi Mall on 19th February, 2013. The main aim was to avoid the mess that was created because of breaking traffic rules. All the NSS volunteers were standing carrying banners and had to stop people from walking across the zebra crossing to avoid traffic. This event was covered by NDTV news and an article was printed in Gujarati Mid day News supplement .It was a successful event.
