Toy Bank Activity

The N.S.S. volunteers of Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management had participated in an event organized by Toy Bank on 15^th May, 2012. 180 street children from various branches of Asha Kiran Charitable Trust were present for the event. A few delegates from Singapore were also present for an interactive session based on the working of NGOs in India and abroad and tips to improve it. The event started by Origami session, an art of making craft for the kids followed by breakfast.

The post break session had a movie screening of the Hindi cartoon movie ‘Balti Boy’ and then there was a discussion based on moral of the movie. Lunch was served to all the children. And the day ended with happiness and smiles on the faces of the children’s.
