Parental Communication Seminar

A seminar on ‘Parental Communication’ was conducted in our college by Mr. Santosh Pathare. The entire session was explained with the help of a Chinese Movie ‘The postman and the mountain”/ The story is about a postman who delivers post throughout his life and cannot spend time with his family. His son doesn’t like him because his son never felt connected with his father and one day he gets an opportunity to spend time with his father on a journey through the mountain. En route the boy communicated with his father and later he realises the dignity that is father has about his work. This helped the students to understand the importance of parents in our lives which we take for granted many a times. At the end of the session, we were asked to share our thoughts and feelings regarding our parents. It turned out to be a very emotional session.
