IDF Fund Raising Activity

The National Service Scheme Unit of SVKM’s USHA PRAVIN GANDHI COLLEGE of MANAGEMENT undertook an activity for the NGO named INDIAN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION that works for health awareness, the development of women and children. For the first time IDF had approached a college for help in raising funds. This is was a major activity undertaken by us to raise funds for the needy. Though many of the volunteers were shy to approach people for donation. But the well motivated NSS students took it as a challenge to go ahead and give it a try and collect as much as funds possible for this charitable cause. We were the first college in India to undertake this activity and could not loose it as it was for a humanitarian cause and we collected Rs. 28000 approximately and did our bit for the society at large. It was a great pleasure to be the part of this activity.
