Friendship Day Celebration

The N.S.S. volunteers of Usha Pravin Gandhi College Of Management celebrated Friendship’s Day in a unique way by celebrating it with the primary students of Manilal Sunderji U.P. Tamil School, Vile Parle (West).

The students were from 1st - 4th standard (i.e. students of  6 to 9 years  age group ). There were also physically and mentally challenged students. The event observed a response of 40 volunteers. The BMC School comprised of 8 classrooms, with 2 divisions A & B of each standard. The children were really excited by our presence. Apart from exchanging friendship bands and chocolates, we also had a "Watermelon Dance" with the children and gifted them a stationery kit consisting of an eraser, sharpener, pencil and a scale gift wrapped with attractive papers. The School  Principal mentioned a special thanks to the unit by saying, "Our first priority is to see these kids happy and joyful .You all made it a reality for us, which is a pleasant sight. Thank you so much for making this come true". The event ended by bringing happiness and smile on the face of the students.
