Energy Saving Project

The N.S.S. volunteers of Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management undertook the Energy saving project by the University of Mumbai. The project was undertaken throughout the year from August 2012 to January 2013. For this project 7 families were selected by each volunteer. Every 15 days we used to visit all families and give tips regarding conservation of energy. We kept track of their energy utilization every month. We kept the records of all families such as name of the family head, Tel no., address, Meter no. , No. of family members and no. of electrical appliances, units use and the bill amount of every month.
In this way we were able to spread the awareness of conservation of energy and the ways to save energy for future generation.
