The NSS unit from Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management organized a visit to the Vimala Dermatological Centre. Unlike, what the name suggests, this place is also home to underprivileged children and leprosy patients. A diwali celebration was organized for these inmates on 9th November.

The function started around 4pm with a magical show was arranged for the kids whom they enjoyed a lot. Dignitaries from various Social Organisations and colleges were felicitated by the kids of Vimala Centre. Also cakes were arranged by the volunteers to celebrate the festival of diwali. Diyas were lit by all the people on the dais. After that, a variety of songs were played, and the kids and the volunteers and everyone else present in that room, danced without any inhibitions. The kids burnt a few crackers. Then the birthday of a girl and Rtn. Aunali Rupani was celebrated by cutting a big. Eatables were distributed to the kids and the patients residing there. After this, the volunteers spent some more time with the kids. The volunteers were more than happy for whatever they were able to do for these children.
