De-Addiction Rally
De-addiction rally was organized by University of Mumbai on 1st October for spreading awareness regarding the addiction of drugs, smoking & drinking and their harmful effects.
The rally began from Azad Maidan, C.S.T. to Gate Way of India. The main motto of the rally was to spread awareness to a large crowd related to harmful effects of addiction on people’s health. People from various groups such as NSS volunteers, NCC volunteers, and social activist had participated in the rally. Participants were provided with placards & banners which carried messages about Anti-smoking, No drinking and driving, Ill effects of drugs, etc.
The rally had a great impact on the masses who appreciated the work done by the volunteers. The social activists of Nashabandi Mandal, Maharashtra State had also organized a bhajan session on De-addiction at Gateway of India which motivated the volunteer to be part of it, practice it and spread awareness on De-Addiction.
